Restore the papyrus, (re)discover the past!

The papyri of the CEDOPAL collection (P.Leodienses) have been restored by Prof. Mario Capasso and Natascia Pellé, of the Università del Salento (Lecce). Inspired by this process, members of our team have been trained in restoration and are continuing the work on the pieces of the private collection entrusted to the Center (P.Leodienses private collection). As part of the papyrology courses, we regularly offer restoration workshops to students and also to the general public during open house events.
